Graham Fern, Technical Director
20 years of experience in the computer industry means Graham has dealt with just about every possible IT issue. From advising global organisations on strategic IT direction, to helping small companies get their IT systems on track, he knows technology inside out.
After working for both HM Government and a national IT company at a senior level, Graham recognised a need for an outsourced IT company that truly meets the needs of both SME and corporate business. In 2001 he co-founded axon IT, gaining Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status in 2006.
Graham now focuses on helping business implement technology solutions that will improve their performance and reduce their costs. When he’s not changing the face of IT and telephony in businesses, you’ll find him writing for leading technology publications including Computer Weekly and PC Pro.
Mike Agutter, Financial Director
Mike spent the formative years of his career in large multi-national companies including ICL. Combined with his knowledge of the technology and computer industry at a corporate level, he brings an entrepreneurial energy to the business which comes from his real world experience of managing SMEs in the property and service industries.
He has successfully managed axon IT during a period of significant growth while nurturing the IT needs of clients. He has achieved this by using a unique set of skills – quickly identifying and understanding the processes of a business, and then focusing on the financial implications to create IT solutions that really work.
Andrea Sumner, Account Manager
Andrea joined axon IT in 2004 bringing with her 15 years of experience and expertise in the telecommunications and IT sector. During this time she has worked for multi-national companies including Nynex and WorldCom so understands what a business needs at a strategic and operational level. Starting as a youth trainee at IBM, Andrea developed an in-depth understanding of the complexities of the telecoms and IT industries – from ensuring the customer had just the right telephone handset to running entire departments. Andrea uses this knowledge to deal with customer relationships and the day to day running of our business.
