axon IT has been appointed to install and manage an IT network infrastructure and telephony system for Tertiary Minerals – also based in Macclesfield.
As part of an office re-location, axon IT has provided Tertiary Minerals with a solution including hardware, backup hardware and networking equipment, and supplied and installed a VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) cloud-based telephony system. axon IT will also provide ongoing IT support to Tertiary Minerals.
Commenting on the appointment, Judith Hayes of Tertiary Minerals said; “axon IT has provided a stable, secure and reliable network which is proving essential for the smooth running of our business. The flexibility of the VoIP system is fundamental for the work that we carry out, and we are looking forward to working with axon as our relationship continues.”
Graham Fern, Technical Director for axon IT added; “Cloud-based telephony makes an ideal solution for many businesses – both small and large. VoIP enables users to place the telephone calls they would normally make on a phone line, over the internet, which can mean huge cost savings. It also offers the flexibility of being able to make and receive phone calls from anywhere with a reliable internet connection. Many businesses with multiple site locations or with employees who frequently travel abroad or work from home can benefit hugely from the technology.”
